Jennifer Mayo for District 3
County Commissioner
Rooted in Oklahoma.
Fix the challenges. I’m not here to blame the past. I’m here to take responsibility and get the job done.
Put real oversight on county spending. Every dollar should be used wisely and openly, because it’s your money.
Prioritize road repairs and infrastructure. Good roads and basic services are not political. They are the foundation of a strong community.
Handle the jail crisis with honesty and respect. We can’t ignore the problems. We have to build a safe, functional system the right way.
Show up, stay accessible, and listen. You won’t have to guess where I am or what’s happening.
About Jennifer Mayo
Jennifer Mayo is a fifth-generation Oklahoman who has spent her career working on food access and public health through government-funded programs and community partnerships.
Her work involves securing funding, coordinating across organizations, and navigating the rules, data, and constraints that shape how public dollars are used. She has seen firsthand how decisions made at the county and state levels affect whether services work as intended or break down in practice.
Jennifer holds a bachelor’s degree in Health Education and Promotion and a master’s degree in Entrepreneurship from Oklahoma State University.
She lives in Edmond on a small farm with her husband, Patrick Searcey, and their two daughters.
Jennifer is running for Oklahoma County Commissioner because Oklahoma County has a habit of making expensive decisions and then getting vague when the public asks basic questions. She believes county government should be able to clearly explain what it’s doing, what it will cost, and what success looks like before money is committed.
